Fifty years after the Vietnam War ended, we hear the untold story from the women who fought and endured and from the women today who are empowered to unpack their intergenerational reality. It's a story of triumph, hope, and womanhood from the warriors themselves.

This documentary account sets the ages of overshadowing a woman's place in history right.

It validates the strength of femininity and demands acceptance and cohabitation in every group.

it creates space for trauma and uses reconciliation as power and healing as leadership.

It takes the cliche out of love and positions it as the sole agreeable purpose for the entire human race.

The Vietnamese women in this documentary aren't asking to be leaders or to be in the spotlight—no more than they asked for the war to come to their country years ago. But during a time when our world has wars pressing on every corner, we need a beacon of light, a look into the future to help us look back to where we are right now and understand the decisions we are making matter.

For that reason, we must share all women's stories. They help us understand and see ourselves, give us examples of how to handle challenging situations, and help us understand the world more accurately.

There is always more than one perspective and more than one experience, specifically in war. If we can start to truly see each other, then we can heal, we can love, and we can accept each other. Everyone on this planet has the right to love, safety, and a life of peace.
